The album FLY II Tour 2000...
FLY II (2000 EASTWEST RECORDS), as this album came to be known, is as scarce as a hit Madonna movie.
It was only available for sale at the LA LUNA concert tour, and even then, there were few copies available. We did not have any for sale here in Ottawa, which annoyed me and the penguins no end... Ever seen a penguin pout ???
Anyooooo, I manage to turn up a copy for sale on EBAY, from Sweden of all places and I was a happy camper... Thank God for the internet !!! I went gaga the day it came in !!!
I will not answer questions about how much it set me back, but suffice it to say that me and the penguins ate KRAFT dinner for a long time after that... I now know what small nations with huge debts go through. I almost went to jail when the pengies started going around with empty cans of peas that said UNICEF in crayons on the front and begging for money. Thank God they can't write well...
Now the album features the first CD of FLY (minus TIME TO SAY GOODBYE) and adds a second CD of rare recordings. Both remix versions of ONCE IN A LIFETIME are sweeeeet beyond belief, the remix of STARSHIP TROOPERS is a good disco piece with da beat (you should see the penguins dancing to it wrapped up in tin foil a la Cylons from BATTLESTAR GALACTICA) and HOW CAN HEAVEN LOVE ME is one of our favorite song...
We also quite like FIRST OF MAY although I try not to play it too much, it always makes the penguins hunt down a Christmas tree and then I get drowned in lists for presents. Me trying to explain that you need snow for Christmas is now a lost cause since they figured out they have Christmases in Californa in 80 degree weather. I hate educational television...
The CD is playing as I write this and it has come to the song ONCE IN A LIFETIME, the ballad version. I really love that song... Oh, and the penguins are waltzing... They love that song too... Well thank God that's Miss Sarah on WINAMP and not me, I have no voice this morning....

Oh, by the way, the image above is not the real album cover. It is something I made up. The real cover is just the original FLY album with an oval sticker that says SPECIAL EDITION 2 CD BOX LA LUNA TOUR. I know, I snored too.Oh, as I write this, one copy of this CD is on sale on EBAY for $300 !!! I never paid close to that, thank God !!! I hope no one does either !!! Come to think of it, where are those penguins with my MASTERCARD !?!?!?!
