The album covers of THE TREES THEY GROW SO HIGH...

The album The Trees They Grow So High has had 3 different album covers and 2 different names since it was released in 1988.

The original album cover from 1988 features a very young looking Miss Sarah, as you can see...

     1st release in 1988

For the second release of the CD in 1995, this cover was replaced by the trees-looking-upward one. Only a small portion of the original image was retained and used in the upper right corner of the new cover.

     2nd release in 1995

For the third release of the CD in Europe in 1998, almost all the references to Miss Sarah were removed. The album was renamed EARLY ONE MORNING and the cover now features the painting of a child in a meadow. It seems EMI has chosen not to feature Miss Sarah's name prominently on this rerelease of the album.

The penguins and I wonder why...

     3rd release in 1998

As always, just click on the red arrow beside a song title for its lyrics and a short musical clip in RealAudio format.
