This CD was released in
1999 by Miss Sarah, to help raise funds
for the victims of the huge earthquake
that devastated Taiwan on Sep. 21st of
that year.
The earthquake struck at 1:47am local
time, with a magnitude of 7.3 on the
Richter scale. It was the largest
earthquake of the 20th century in Taiwan.
The official report from the governement
lists 2246 deaths and 8735 injured.
Miss Sarah is a huge star is Taiwan and
in her usual own sweet way, she wanted to
do something to help the people of that
country.
Her message on the CD cover reads:
To my dearest fans in Taiwan:
In your time of great tragedy,
I hope my music can provide you with the
smallest of comforts.
My thoughts and deepest sympathies are
with you.
